For a past editing job, I modernized the format of one of their established 200-page self-help books, transforming it from an early 90s aesthetic to a modern one. This included creating a custom style set in Microsoft Word for headers and updating charts, fonts, margins, shapes, table of contents, and text layout. In addition, I have experience formatting sample chapters and books in Adobe InDesign.
Mind of a University
I worked on formatting three sample chapters in Adobe InDesign for a passion project entitled Mind of a University. My work included creating a custom cover, table of contents, chapter format, works cited, and author page for each sample.

I had the amazing opportunity to format a book in Adobe InDesign that would be used by children in Zambezi. For this project, I considered many factors such as coloring (or lack thereof), font, cover, table of contents, chapter headers, and author page, all with the added challenge of the text being in a language I do not speak. Despite a challenge like this, the finished product turned out beautifully for its readers.
